About the Coalition

We, members of the Gender and Trade Coalition, hold the firm belief that a feminist alliance on trade justice is required to address the pernicious impact of trade rules on women’s human rights and to produce informed policy responses addressing the structural causes of gendered human rights violations.

Currently, 284 organizations are members of the Coalition.

Co-chairs

The Steering Group elected 3 Co-chairs including African Women's Development and Communications Network (FEMNET), Red de Género y Comercio, and Regions Refocus, which also serves as the Secretariat.
